GH4 Eyepiece replacement
Does anyone know where I can get a GH4 eyepiece replacement? I can't find it even on Panasonic's website...

I wish there where larger eyecups, like you find on videocamera's that cover the entire eye blocking all sun out. Anyone found something that would fit the gh4 as well?

the eyecup off my AF100 fits the GH4 fine, sure you have to open the screen 1st or leave it closed but it works

I just looked at the af100 eyecup but it seems quite big, how do you fit it onto the gh4? Could you post a picture?

if you read the post - that's what I said, you have to open the screen first or not at all
Hi Noa, yes it is big but it works fine, the only other option I've played with is a Zacuto mounted with a small arm - I can use it in various positions. no good for weddings, too slow. I'm using the eyepiece idea just to throw on for an outside ceremony in bright sun - I don't use the screen then anyway Last edited by Paul Mailath; October 14th, 2014 at 01:52 AM. |

Thx for the pictures Paul, that looks great, do you know if that eyepiece can be ordered separately? I guess you can open and turn the lcd screen and then close it again so you still can view the screen when the eyecup is attached?
Does the eyecup stay attached once you put it on or is there a risk that it falls off? |
