GH3: Arizona Superstition Mountains
The Arizona Superstition Mountains are home to the legendary Lost Dutchman gold mine. Though existence of the mine has never been confirmed, the search continues to this day. Three days before this trip, a 51 year old woman was rescued for the second time in these mountains. Suffering hypothermia and dehydration she had failed again in her quest for the Lost Dutchman's gold.

Re: GH3: Arizona Superstition Mountains
I'm taking a trip to Buckskin Mountain State Park in Arizona in May. Are the Superstition Mountains close by that area? I'd love to stop by if it's within a reasonable driving distance.
Great video by the way. |

Re: GH3: Arizona Superstition Mountains
Thank you for watching and the good comment Roger. Unfortunately, the Buckskins are 3.5 hr West of Phoenix, and the Superstitions 1 hr East. Next time you're in Phoenix, check them out.

Re: GH3: Arizona Superstition Mountains
Many thanks Duane. The Superstitions are great in Winter and Spring, but beware the Summer heat.
