Make sure you're signed in. At the top, you should see your user name. You have to sign in and navigate back to the pages with the downloads from the signed in confirmation screen.

And yes, just make sure you're signed in and click on the icon that looks like a sheet of paper. The setting will download. |

Re: I want to Hack what am I missing
Why not just use the GH2 and forget the hack. This camera shoots stunning video as is.

Most of the benefit in the hack shows up in post and really doesn't slap you in the face.....and as said, the GH2 takes beautiful video right out of the box. The GH3's will be better but I won't buy a new one. Never again will I buy a new Consumer product from Panasonic, just Broadcast division equipment. There are some issues with the stock GH2 that have recently been corrected in the hacks. Handling Red and Blue colors are one, much improved low light images are another....but again, the result is in post. |

Re: I want to Hack what am I missing
Brent:
Sam Mallery has put together this guide: An EZ Guide to Hacking the Panasonic GH2 | Sam Mallery And Bradley Steenkamp has put together this video guide: I personally shoot unhacked. It's too much trouble for an old guy like me :) The GH2's 24mbps bit rate is fast enough for my needs. And the rumor is that the GH3 will shoot 72mbps GOP-I out of the box, which should satisfy all but the most extreme hackers who "need" 100mbps and don't mind huge file sizes. Hope this is helpful, Bill Hybrid Camera Revolution |
