Juiced Link and Panasonic GH1
Has anyone successfully used the JuicedLink pre-amp? I do mainly interviews and I wanted to save time synching the audio with my H4 Zoom.
I would love to hear your experiences. Thanks!

Re: Juiced Link and Panasonic GH1
I can't be of a lot of help, by I had a juiced link, probably still have it stuck away in a box. Cable went bad or the box went bad, never figured it out.
They work fine, but I didn't like using it. They are said to be quieter than the Beachtek, but I can't prove that is true. I found the bulk and interface too clunky for my taste. And they are ugly. Anyway, I know many use them and it should work fine for the GH1, I would think it would be a great fit, audio wise, except I just thought of the fact you don't have meters on the gh1, so you'd want a juiced link model with meters, I would think. Now that I think of it, you'd be a disadvantage not having an audio meter on the GH1. You almost need to think about getting a GH2 so you can at least monitor your audio, at least I would. The GH1 is a great cam, but for audio it's a little limited. I put a shotgun on mine and it comes out fine most the time. |
