GH2 + DP6 Recording Issue at DVinfo.net

I can get my new GH2 to record at 720 / 60p easily enough just using the LCD (and the results are rather nice), but when it's attached to my SmallHD DP6 via HDMI, it only records at 1080 / 30p (or 24p) -- there's not even a menu option to switch it to any 720p rates. Is this expected behaviour, or am I (as usual) doing something wrong?

Otherwise, I'm impressed by the results...

Unfortunately this is a shortcoming of the GH2...no 720p with an external monitor. Your pain is shared.

Thanks. That's really annoying, but not fatal -- I guess I just have to live with it...
