Nice lens, outstanding quality footage. Editing was quite good. Very pro. What mic did you use?

Re: Phillies/Eagles GH2 Vid
Gary, I'm surprised you haven't recieved more comments, such a nice piece of work.
Just to spark discussion, NOT to be critical, it seemed a tad long and after awhile it kind blurred together, just a little. I'm sure the for those involved it was just perfect!, Did you submit it to the Philadelphia newspapers for online? I would think they would love to have it. Your exposures were right on, your focus was so sharp, what a cool lens that 57mm is. Great ad for the camera and the lens. Please post more, I need your inspiration!

Re: Phillies/Eagles GH2 Vid
Really nice video. I was impressed by the footage.
Question. Did you use monopod or some sort of rig for close ups? Uneven ground combined with my Rokkor 50mm and monopod gives shaky results ... Cheers |

Re: Phillies/Eagles GH2 Vid
Thanks all,
Dave: used a gorillapod and slider. Jeff: Tascam DR-07 in front of speaker - couldn't get a feed though. I'll look into online papers |

Gary, thanks for posting. Beautiful footage. Quite a showcase for the GH2 with your skills.
When you say Gorillapod do you mean that flexi mini tabletop tripod thing? Your closeups were very solid but some had smooth camera adjustment for people moving. Please explain further! |

Re: Phillies/Eagles GH2 Vid
Not speaking for the OP, but I've used my cheapo Gorillapod as a rudimentary stabilizer. I affix it to the camera and then straighten all the legs down to the left, where they can ride along my left forearm as a long 3rd point-of-contact (along with the right hand grip and face-on-eyepiece). Steadies out rather convincingly.
