Re: Who's using EF lenses with the GH1 and GH2? How's that working out?
20mm pancake -- I have one on order but will not be getting it for another month, is the AF as bad as I have heard with it compared to let's say the 14mm and 14-140mm.

It's OK not as quick as the 14-140 lens. Not good in low light but I found that true of video cameras as well. The face recognition function helps.

I find the autofocus very good, but you have to know how to use it to get the best results. It takes a combination of practice and finding the right settings, which I haven't mastered myself. It is my project this week.

Re: Who's using EF lenses with the GH1 and GH2? How's that working out?
I ordered the Tamron 28-75mm lens today. Thing is it would be money better spent on a videocamera!
At any rate, I will get nice range and flexibility with it for first dances, ceremonies, etc. though if I need to stop it down I will be in trouble. I got a cheap adapter, not the Kipon, so I'll have no aperture control, but hey, it should work fine.
