Re: Sample clips discussion
Here's a video I worked on, we used all three of my GH2's (unhacked) and a variety of lenses, from vintage Pentax 50mm 1.4 to the Oly 14-55mm m43.

Re: Sample clips discussion
Picked up my GH2 with canon fd 28 mm for this shoot instead of sony z5 like I would usually do. All handheld with an addition of manfrotto 501 base plate just for the weight of it.
Over all I was happy with camera's performance and versatility. Handheld mic runs directly to gh2, but that mini adapter keeps popping out of the jack. Brian's lav runs into olympus recorder, I guess I should find a better solution for my 2nd audio channel. |

Re: Sample clips discussion
Thanks for posting! The mini plug jack isn't secure enough to use for anything other than a shotgun mic, in my opinion. Even then you need to be careful! For times when a shotgun mic would be useful: a mini shotgun like this one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/534023-REG/Sennheiser_MKE_400_MKE_400_Compact_Video.html

Re: Sample clips discussion
Here is an interview-based documentary I shot with the GH-2. To fully appreciate this photographer's wildlife photos, be sure to go to Youtube and watch full-screen in HD. Some of the best wildlife photography I've ever seen!

Re: Sample clips discussion
Alex K - HAHA the footage was good the interviews great - it's all about content for sure. Now they've been moved on it's just a moment in history - loved it.

Re: Sample clips discussion
I know we don't use this thread a lot (which is a shame) - but I thought I'd update it with some recent test footage:

Archery Video Shot with GH2
I recently produced a video profiling a female bowhunter who lives in Colorado. This was shot entirely with the GH2 and edited on Sony Vegas. I had a lot of fun with this project:

Stills from a recent shoot
These are three stills from a set of interviews I shot for a extras documentary for an upcoming DVD release. The GH2 was actually set up as a B camera to a JVC HM750 but these came out so nice, I thought I would share them.

That girl must be very proud of her bow and arrow technique, pity doesn't have any feelings for the animal. Glad you had a lot of fun with the project Jerry.

I'm completely new to digital still cameras, but learning something new about the GH3 every time I go out.
