HDMI capture solved

Or so it sounds via AviSynth software. Out of the box, the GH2 has a hobbled HDMI out -- sync issues and stray fields in the video stream. Initially the possibility of HDMI capture had been dismissed. Now it looks like there's a simple software based solution. I don't think it will produce 422 color sampling but early reports are promising and supposedly resolution and shadow detail are much improved.

And Ninja is about to release a new sub $1000 flash recorder.
