Two weeks and no word.
I paid $1800 for a GH1 (and warranty) from B&H two weeks ago. It's not just that I'm waiting a long time for the GH1 but also that I have no idea when I'm going to get it - with a possibility that I won't until September.
I don't blame B&H for this, but I'm wondering if I should ask for a refund on that pre-order, and wait until the GH1 becomes more ubiquitous... or other manufacturers catch up.

That's why I always prefer to order from stock on hand. Like you, I trust B&H, but just don't want to wait an unknown length of time to get something.

Yeah. Contacted them - they still have no idea.
I have a meeting on Friday with my producer for the project I was planning on using the GH1 for. If I can't get an ETA by then, I'll cancel the order with the intention of reinstating it when the GH1 is back in stock.
