FZ1000 generic flash?
Hi Guys
Anyone here using the Nissin i466 external flash on the FZ1000 here ...Does the TTL work OK?? Any other models that have the Lumix TTL option ?.. The FL360 or Oly FL36 of course work fine but they are quite pricey compared to generic models. We are doing wedding receptions indoors so TTL is essential as one tends to do lots of pics and we don't really have time to experiment with manual settings especially on our photobooth |

Re: FZ1000 generic flash?
I ended up taking the "safe" option and got the Olympus FL600R which is also a wireless flash (and the FZ1000 supports it too) plus it has a small but neat video light as well.
Works very well on both my FZ1000's and connects instantly to TTL auto which is an essential for weddings when you don't have time to fiddle with manual settings ... I think it's much the same as the Lumix flashes (they are supposed to be made in the same factory) but a tad cheaper!! |
