Zoom data display shows on HDMI out
Hi Guys
Did a live stream on Sunday and had to zoom the FZ1000 to get away from a photog blocking my shot and the detailed display that indicates your zoom is also sent down the HDMI cable .. Is there any way to turn it off?? I simply want to be able to reframe a shot and not have the fancy display telling me what focal length I am at coming thru on the HDMI connection ..Any bright ideas??? |

Re: Zoom data display shows on HDMI out
Silly question but does pressing the display button and cycling through the options do anything on the HDMI?

Re: Zoom data display shows on HDMI out
Not a silly question at all. That was half the problem and I would have eliminated most of the icons but not all. The real issue was pure stupidity....On the TV connection section of the Wrench menu I didn't have the HDMI REC set to off ...if you leave it on it sends the menu display out as well (for use with an HDMI external monitor) and set to OFF gives you clean HDMI video only regardless of where the display button is set ... Gosh I'm so dumb sometimes!!
