Panasonic FZ2000

Expect an announcement in 6 to 8 weeks about the successor to the FZ1000 ... only a rumour at the moment but it's going to have a new sensor which will be a 4/3 as opposed to the current 1" sensor ..it all depends on the factory making the sensors as the release has been delayed due to factory damage in Japan so Panny might be looking at sensors from elsewhere and not Sony ..Guess we will wait and see if it materializes???

Re: Panasonic FZ2000

Maybe not locking exposure during 4K filming, and allowing zooming while shooting video??

Re: Panasonic FZ2000

I have heard it has build in rotor blades so you could use it as a drone as well.

And a concealed parachute so if the motors fail it comes down gently.

Re: Panasonic FZ2000

I don't know about that, the rumor site I got my info from said it had a build-in airbag.

Re: Panasonic FZ2000

I was told by a Panasonic rep at British Birdfair last week that the official line on "GH5" and "FZ2000" was "no comment".
He did agree that a 1.4X TC was needed for eg their 100-400 and that it was about time the AF-101 was updated.

Re: Panasonic FZ2000

Either someone has done some awesome artwork on the proposed FZ2000 or the pictures are real . Same lens and sensor but they have added ND Filters and a headphone jack

(FT5) First images of the new Panasonic FZ2000 - 43 Rumors

Take it with a pinch of salt or it might just be real ..who knows ????
