Panasonic purchase.
Just a quick word of advice to anyone who is not aware. I was searching the internet for the best price on an HC-X1E and I stumbled on a Panasonic workshop in the UK that sells "used" camcorders. I contacted them and they told me all equipment they sell will be less than 28 days old and may be a customer return or a minor repair while new, but everything has a full 1 year Panasonic warranty. I bought the cam from them for £1,000 below the list price. It arrived in the original packaging with all accessories, and the cam looks brand new. Not even a scratch on the tripod mount.
Thought I would share this as it is probably not the first place buyers would check. |

Re: Panasonic purchase.
The invoice states PANASONIC OFFICIAL EBAY STORE. The address is Hollinwood Works, Manchester Rd, Oldham OL9 7AA. I would imagine it is a separate company but all their communications are printed with the Panasonic logo. I think they are also the Panasonic workshop for the UK.

Re: Panasonic purchase.
I think that’s servicecare. They’re a Panasonic authorised service agent who take returns from big online firms and sell them as cut price items.

Re: Panasonic purchase.
When I asked them who they were, they stated their full company is Panasonic Outlet. I persevered and asked if they were actually owned by Panasonic but she just repeated they were Panasonic Outlet.

Re: Panasonic purchase.
They are NOT owned by Panasonic. Their full title is
SERVICECARE SUPPORT SERVICES LIMITED Company number 03024924 Their full accounts are available. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/c...pdf&download=0 Syd - Why do you think they're owned by Panasonic - as far as I can see they're just an authorised agent like many others. The above info is easy to find. |
