Panasonic HC V180 issue
Hi,
I have a Panasonic HC V180 and it's great, but as I use it for artistic feedback purposes I have come across an issue I really hope someone can help me with. Because I work with feedback I record the camera's live feed output. It also runs through a few video devices and is being down and up scaled so there's quite a bit going on. My problem is there is a notification box that appears displaying a lower case I and an upper case A (iA). Sometimes it displays what looks like a mountain. This appears both on the preview screen of the camera and in the live feed output from the camera, and that is a problem for me as it affects the work I am doing. This is actually a common problem when working with feedback. If anyone knows of any way to turn this notification off, or knows that it can't be turned off I would appreciate your input. Thanks! |

Re: Panasonic HC V180 issue
Yep, near perfect camera. Compact, full range of settings, massive zoom and affordable. Just needs mic and headphone sockets. And, for a minority of users, a way to fully turn off the screen display. If there's a way to turn the display off completely, I haven't found it. If you're using the camera in auto mode, the iA stands for intelligent auto. The symbol changes automatically, when viewing distant landscapes (the little mountain) and in low light (a little candle).
