Using TM900 as a webcam
Hey guys, was just wondering if there's any way of using this little camera as a webcam. Buying a full HD webcam which I will be needing in the near future is somewhat expensive for me, not to mention buying one that delivers the crystal clear quality I'd get with the TM900 (if there even is such a thing!), which is why I'm exploring this path before I see myself forced to go that way. Thank you kindly for any ideas you might have.

Re: Using TM900 as a webcam
You can do so via HDMI. You will need a Blackmagic Design add-on card or breakout box. If you're on a Mac, there are many Thunderbolt boxes that are compatible with things like Skype.

Re: Using TM900 as a webcam
You mean a capture card? The cheapest one i'm seeing on their site is the intensity pro one, which is $200. More expensive than a webcam :(
PS: I'm using a PC. Last edited by Luc Spencer; February 24th, 2013 at 08:39 PM. |
