TM-900 Manual focus to Infinity Question
Hey guys, been lurking a while, new to the forum. Bought the HDC TM-900 a few month ago. Very impressed with it. I use my cameras while storm chasing alot.....when shooting clouds, I'd like to be able to focus manually to infinity. Just wondering is that possible on the TM900.......and how do I go about it? lol
I also have a Canon EOS 7D, I know I can focus those lenses to infinity.....but that thing, while it shoots awesome video.......can not be used for run and gun style shooting required in chasing. |

Re: TM-900 Manual focus to Infinity Question
Hi
Possibly because the answer is very simple, you just need to check out the manual. Options are: Use manual mode and then set the scene mode to landscape which should fix the focus on infinity while keeping all other settings at auto. Alternatively set it to manual mode and then set focus to manual and focus on a distance point yourself. Note: Manual mode is really auto override mode, switching to manual still keeps focus and exposure automatic unless you specifically override the exposure which puts it into your control from that point onwards.
