How to remove blue lines in DVX100 + Anamorphic Lens ?
I am always having blue vertical line at the left of the picture when I shoot with the 16:9 lens. I think it doesn't fit exactly that's why. It leaves a gap front the front focus wheel which is not same up and down (up is wide - down is narrow). I tried the included mounting instructions but I can't make a perfect fit!
Can anyboby help? John DVX100E PAL Greece |

I've had similar problems with various adapters I've used over the years. Usually a piece of gaffers tape around the mount seals out stray light from the loose fit. If the streak is caused by misalignment, I epoxy the adapter to a mounting ring.
I check the image with the camera plugged into a monitor. I move the adapter until the line disappears and mark the position. Then I attach the adapter and epoxy the adapter following my marks. If all the taping and/or gluing have you put off, try returning the adapter or exchanging it.
