Clicking sound with new DVX-100
My brand new DVX-100 makes a clicking sound when I rock it gently forward and backward. I have not heard of this and hope that it is indeed normal. I have a wedding project to work on tomorrow so I will find out one way or another. And no I did not book a wedding with a brand new, unproven camera. :) This project is to be shown at the wedding some months from now. If we can't shoot tomorrow, no big deal.

Could it be the optical stabilizer? This clicking sound is normal on the MX300 and MX3000, but I'm not sure about this being normal on the DVX.

Frank,
Now that you mention it, I think you are right. Thanks. Greg Matty |

That's correct. It also mentions this in the FAQ section of the manual.
