Stupid Question Coming: 90min MiniDV tape? at DVinfo.net

Has anyone used a 90 min mini DV tapes with the AG-DVX100.
I am afraid to try one! Would Like to know.

Hi Kevin,

I'm unaware of a 90min tape in the Mini DV size. Panasonic makes an 80min, shouldn't be a problem with the DVX100.

Thats what I ment sorry.
On the specs for the AG-DVX100 they stress 60 min tapes, what is the scoop. Has anyone used the 80 min tape without problems?

Kevin- The reason you shouldn't use longer tapes, is do to their stretching, or so I've read. However, it seems to me, that unless you are planning on using it over and over, it should be fine. But then, you know better than to do that, right?
