"The New AG-DVC80"
According to Steve Golub Product Line Manager of Panasonic Proline NAB will showcase a less expensive AG-DVX100 model without 24p called the AG-DVC80. Has anyone tested it yet?

If they're not out, nobody's tested them except for those in Panasonic's factory. But then again, this cam may still just be in parts and plastic pieces.

I don't think you'll have to wait for anyone to "test" it; the DVC80 is exactly like the DVX100 except for the 24p feature and the price. The DVX100 has already proven to be a superb camcorder; as its nearly identical twin the DVC80 should be no different. I think it's a smart move by Panasonic.
