Panasonic AJ-DVX100B and AJ-SDX900 used on TV
MTV's primiered Jamie Kennedy's "Blowin' Up" which was shot with six AJ-DVX100B camcorders.

The press release things are always such crap...
“But with the Panasonic cameras, I had all the confidence in the world because I had shot with them for so long that I knew that I could gain up to 9db and I wouldn’t get any noise to be worried about." The DVX is by FAR the noisiest 3CCD DV camera, I think even Panny would admit this. There was a nice improvement in the 100B but at anything over +6db the noise gets NASTY! ash =o) |

I have used a PAL DVX and it is very noisy with the gain on... you can use video gamma to help curb it...
