CBS's 48 Hours & DVX100
Last night I was called by one of my co-workers to watch 48 Hours. Sure enough, as he had said, they were using a DVX100 on a jib when they would show the host of the program. The quality was superb and once (that I saw) they even showed a 3 second beauty shot of the camera. Did anyone see the show?

They did it again!
I was just watching 48 Hours tonight, and whenever they went back to the host of the show, the motion was 24P. I would have guessed that they were using some sort of high definition camera, but then they did a close-up shot going over a DVX100 when they were talking about next week's show. If they are indeed using the DVX for these segments of the show, that is pretty neat! I'll be watching for it next time...
