LANC Connection
I must have missed it but does this camera have a L-ANC jack for use with a Varazoom? Would the Pro-L work on it?

Check out the Varizoom site http://www.varizoom.com/controllers/dvx.htm They have a new model for the DVX100. It was just released.

LANC
For another option to the Varizoom, check out the Zoe. A new product out of Bebob Electronics in Germany, you can read a review on my site at www.digitalprods.com/workshop.htm. This is the most professional style zoom controller I have used with my PD150, and it is now available for the Panasonic DVX100.

Just to clarify, the auxiliary remote jack on the AG-DVX100 is not the standard Sony LANC protocol. LANC controllers work only with Sony and Canon camcorders. The connection on the DVX100 is proprietary to Panasonic, not compatible with LANC.

I'm guessing that this only works in 60i mode? Anyone have any info on this?
