Noise? LowRes? Time for hmc150 ? Any more new successors on this style of cam coming?
Hi all. I use a DVX-100B. Lately more and more im feeling either the cam has gone/is more noisy or just need more resolution for the editing (pple here got hd-tv's but most dont have blue-rays oh well). The major use though is for weddings n vaptisms. I might make a film of my own "sometime" also.
Things i want in my new cam would be the focus ability of the dvx , both auto / manual / using-switching between them during the shot and low light shooting. I know my dvx is very good at low light , i would prefer an even better low light handling though. Or do i have to de-noise or something whatever the cam at low light situations n areas? ive tried noise filtering and i always prefer to leave the noise on after previewing. Im very anxious of the focus ability since i know ill have to switch to manual focus more frequently on portait zooms with a 16:9 crop area my chars will never be on the center with this crop size. At times i use zoom from all buttons but prefer to use the remote control or the fixed slow speed usually. I guess my best bet would be an hmc150 with a supreme lens ? Is there any that'd fit and fuction properly zooming + autofocus ? I do use zooming quite a bit and theyr pretty nice :D ps1. all my material will be downconverted to fit back to dvd ... so i guess ill be shooting 720p downconverting to sd ? i will add blueray supply also, but i doubt ill sell more than a couple per year. (they all got dvd-players) ps2. will 8gb ram be enough for video editing or do i have to raise my ram also ? ps3. been shooting mostly on shoulder (and tripods ofc) 16yrs since pana-svhs .... think its time to try as monopod ... :D tried flycam , bad product. ps4. i know its been a looong time since hmc150 came out , do they have anything new coming i should wait a bit more ?? as a successor to the dvx/hmc style ? |
