Profeel has a good price for the DVX100

I been shopping around and "Profeel" has the DVX100 for $3478, just a little bit less than B&H Photo.

Hey Vinson,
If you scroll down to "Great Deals from DVInfo.Net Sponsors" you will find that Brian Longley from Zotz announced that they sell the panny 24p for $3,385 with delivery included. It would appear that blows the other "deals" you have so far mentioned right out of the water...... plus Zotz is a sponsor of this forum.

The other vendors you have so far mentioned are fine companies and I have purchased from them in the past. However, your announcements have certainly shown what a good deal Zotz is offering. You could say, "Zotz gotz the best deal."

Regards, Nick

Zotz Digital is definitely committed to serving DV Info Net Community members with very good pricing on a lot of gear.

They are proud to carry the DVX100 and are offering it at a great price. Our other Panasonic camera dealer is Pro-Tape. Contact info at www.dvinfo.net/sponsors -- many thanks,

Or check out a dealer here:

http://www.resellerratings.com

Also, there's a member here who just bought a DVX100 last friday, and now wants to sell it. He's posted an ad on the other dvinfo forum.

He's asking $3200 US or best offer. Artstar, this may be your ticket for the film look!

I was a part of the 2-pop DVX100 buyers group. I got the cam for $3295 + $40 for shipping, in two weeks after ordering. This was truly the best deal on a DVX.

Once these cams are out (like available), and have been on the market for a while, I wonder how low the price drops will go. VX2000 street price maybe? That's when I'll consider buying one....

But then there's always the poor man's DVX100, at 1/2 the price: the Pana MX5000! (No 24P, though, just 25P with the Pal version...the MX500.)

Don't think this camera will drop much in price for awhile. At least not till next summer (when other types come out). Of course in time it will go down...but there is an opportunity cost involved (all that time you could be shooting and learning how to control 24p...ie pans , etc). If you want it and think you will use it...just get it.

Still, you can call the DVX100 the official PD150 killer that everyone has been looking for. And for about the same street price.
