Panasonic HDC-SD7 stops working after 10 seconds
I own a Panny HDC-SD7 HD videocam, import from Japan.
The cam worked fine for 2 years but suddenly the camera stopped working. I can do everything with the cam, but it automatically shuts off after 10 seconds. Whether I record or play. The cam is unusable this way. Does anyone know what the problem can be? |

Hi Cliff...................
Have to say, we could bat this about the Forum for ever and a day and still be no nearer to actually solving the problem, the cause could be almost anything.
Getting camera repairs "via Forum" is a pretty dodgy proposition at the best of times, in this case I think it would be practically suicidal. Best I can suggest is to get it parked in front of a Panasonic technician and let them figure it out, no matter what anyone here comes up with, that's where it has to go anyway. If the battery hasn't died, then there is practically nothing you can do to fix this (yourself). Sorry. CS |
