Need to find a technical book on DVX 100
I am usually in the *ghasp* XL-2 forum seeing as I have one but I have noticed lately how a lot of DP's in my city (Nashville) are older and don't know how to work on a DV camera like an XL-2 or DVX 100. I also noticed that they hire 19 year olds to be camera operators/ techs on shoots and they make mad money doing it. My question is, what is a good book that I can learn all of the technical parts of the DVX 100 so that I can service myself as a camera tech. I have used one before and can operate it fine. I need something like the manual with maybe more depth if I can find it. Thanks for your help.

Yup, that's Barry Green's book and DVD. Run, don't walk, on your way to get it. No DVX100 owner should be without this combination. It's absolutely indispensible. Don't leave home without it. That sort of thing. Thanks Ari,

I concur. It's a great supplement to the manual.
