DVX Specials in Aus

This isnt a buy sell thread, just a heads up to those aussies looking at getting a DVX100

at teh moment Rexel (dists of DVX100) are offering

dvx100a
055/503 manfrotto tripod kit
storm case
spare battery
5 tapes

and some other stuff i cant remember right now..

u can prolly find all this for less than $7000AUD which is actaully below RRP of the unit itself.. so when shopping, make sure u ask for the Rexel Special which is valid to the end of april :)

Good to see a *cheaper* more resonable deal but Australians are still paying way to much compared to the rest of the world. Just as a indication i payed $2700AUD less then that price for a dvx100a (camera only though ) delivered to my door from overseas

Aint that the truth. I just bought a Marantz solid state recorder from overseas for $780 including gst and other charges. Local price $1300 (and not in stock)

hell coz of the way i use my cameras im lucky i did buy my secodn dvx from aus (even though it was at dealer price i was still ripped off... ) but the warranty came in handy as my DVX died in the ass at 80hrs.. ..

they gave me a whole new unit..

but my firt was bought from oversaeas and i saved myself 3800 dollars which is another camera in itself...
