Macro mode
Every time I start my dvx100 it goes in to macro mode and I have to turn it on like 20 times for it to work ..... I saw a post about it on another thread but all the solution that were given did not help me to solve this problem. if anyone has had this problem please give me some advice .... I have called Panasonic (all 50 numbers) and they say the same thing all support says "we are not aware of this problem send it to us" yeah and I am out of 400 dollars for something simple.

Not sure what you mean. "Macro" occurs when the focus ring is turned to MF50 or less. (or, on the DVX100A, I think they changed that to MF37). So all you have to do is turn the focus ring, and "macro" should disappear when you get to MF50 or above.
The "macro" mode is merely meaning that you're focusing closer than the technical "minimum object distance" (MOD). The closest you can focus, under full telephoto conditions, is MF50 (or MF37). But if you zoom out to full wide angle, you can focus down to MF00. Anything below MF50 will display "macro" in the viewfinder. But it's not a "mode" or a problem, it's just letting you know that you're focusing closer than the MOD. |
