Accidental Gladiator

We seem to have tweaked the shutter settings while shooting a scene for our movie, and it has the jittery Gladiator effect in it. We definitely don't want this, is there any way to fix in post, to smooth the motion out? It was shot in 24p standard on the DVX100a...

Well, it was an important interview for a doc. We could probably get it again, but it'll be difficult. Busy person.

ad some motion blur and run a softening filter in post

u wont get rid of the intensity, but this will at least soften the image a lil
