Right now, the page which Terrence has provided above is *the* resource for the AG-DVX100. I've "stuck" it to the top of the forum for easy reference. Thanks for joining us here, Terrence... it may look small now, but trust me, it'll grow!

Terrence, thanks for the information. On the spec sheet however I have a problem with the sensitivity figure (f11/2000lux) vs the "minimum subject brightness" (3lux/18db/50 IRE). The two figures do not correlate. One of them must be incorrect. Could you elaborate on this?
FYI "minimum subject brightness" should be "minimum scene illumination" because "lux" is not a brightness unit. |

The ones that point back to the article posted here at DVinfo are not compressed:
http://www.dvinfo.net/panasonic/reports/farr/ Rather short DV clips of a variety of movement with a pre-release camera (August 2002). I would think there would have been more full-rez stuff posted since then. You could also do a search in the DVX100 forums both here and over at http://www.2-pop.com. HTH, Clayton |

that first link with all those 16 mb movies that was some really badd videos
I was looking for reviews about the dvx. haven't seen this one coming. The video have edges when the cam is moving from the left to the right. Really weird. Even my 5 year old cheap sony cam doesn't show those edges on my pc. I am also waiting for more sony FX-type of cams to come on the market. They seem to offer better quality than existing 3ccd cams. |
