Anyone using this camera for underwater?
I'm considering this camera for underwater video. I was hoping someone else may already be...and could give me thier opinion on its performance.

One of my uses for the DVX100 is for chasing sharks.
Some tests off Catalina showed great promise. |

Can I just mention that if you are going diving off of Santa Cruz you will have about 8 feet of vis in 50 degree water? No camera is going to perform well over another in those conditions! :D
I've considered getting an enclosure for my DVX 100, but figured it would be a lot less expensive if I were to take my Canon Optura 300 and damage would happen to it. Also I'm sure it will be much more manuverable in the water with it's size..... Good luck! |

I know you're looking for people here that have used the cam underwater. While I have not, I am pretty sure I've seen it used above and underwater on MTV's WildBoyz. You could check it out to see some footage.
