DVX100A cinegamma-d versus regular cinegamma

Hi!

What is the advantage of the dynamic cinegamma versus the regular cinegamma?

Generally, one should use the dynamic one for best results? I have heard that the regular cinegamma was kept only for compatibility with the dvx100 model.

Also, what gamma do you guys think is the best for most latitude in post?
Thanks a lot!

Check out Adam Wilt's review of the camera in the archives of dv.com, he shows some pictures and discusses the reasons behind each of the gamma modes.
