Ag-dvc80
Just purchased a AG-DVC80. When turned on there is a motor that runs continuously and is very loud that the internal mic picks up the sound - anyone have any problems like this?

I just got mine a couple days ago. I turned it on just now, and I do not here any motor noise just from having it in my hand. I plugged in a set of headphones, and in a very quiet room I can FAINTLY hear some motor noise. I can hear it a bit if I touch my ear to the side of the camera.

I've had an 80 for about 2 months now and haven't heard the motor noise your talking about. The zoom motor is pretty loud, but that's about it.

Try turning off auto and going to manual focus. Do you still here a noise?
