Case for DVX100
I've got a DVX100 and I'm transporting it around in a case that isn't designed for it and was wondeing what people like to use?
Pelican? Porta Brace? Kata? etc... Scott

For the money, a Lowpro Nova 5 would do; much better, the 3 you mentioned.

I got a pana case for about 175 -- it's designed for the dvx100 and is water proof -- b&h -- it's great

i have the porta brace, the biggest one that doesn't support the matte box.
i also have a hardig case (pelican like) i like it better than pelican, it is made locally and has some neat features. i haven't had a chance to bring it to their case center where they will do the foam cut-outs for you for a fairly low price. the hardig case would be great for rugged transportation but so far i have had great success using the porta brace case for not only the camera but all my microphones and misc. bits and pieces matthew |
