Hello
I am planning to shoot my new short next month and I am planning on running two cameras. my dp says I need to get an external unit to snych the timecode for the two cameras. I was not aware of this unit for the dvx 100. Any thoughts many thanks Erick |

not needed.. just use common sticks. If you need an external sync your gonna be spending more money than your camera costs.

Jarred is absolutely right. External sync is only necessary when you use a non-digital recording source.
You can you use a laptop, DAT, CD burner, portable mindisc or any other digital source and just use sticks. If you use an old nagra other analog device, then you will need sync... |
