zoom not working on handle

My zoom in/out on my handle is not working for some reason, the record button works fine. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you think its some option that i shut off?? What should i do??

There is also an option in the menu (sorry, don't have a camera right now) to switch zoom controls and there is a both option.

Is your camera set to Manual or Servo ?

Or

Go to Camera setup and then SW Mode.

did you accidentally flip the switch on the right side of the handle that controls how the zoom operates?

ok well i fixed it last night, but i still dont understand how it stopped working, i never have gone into the menu i was in last night for any reason in the past month. kind of stange. oh well it works now, thanks guys.

This actually happend for me.. but it stopped working for almost a month, then started working again. I think it may of been something to do with the speed switch, but I will never know.

Your talking about the handle up top, right? The default setting on speed 2 is no speed - i.e. the zoom does not work on the handle in position 2. Try 1 or 3. It's in the manual.
