Weird clicking sound in my DVX-100, Help!

Hey i bought a my dvx-100E a month ago.
I haven't been able to use a lot because i'm working all the time, but i have shot about one hour of footage with it.
When i picked up the Camera yesterday i noticed a clicking sound inside my camera when tilting it back and forward, it sounded like something was loose in there. I tested the camera with some different shots and modes, and everything works as it should. But the clicking sound scares me, since I just bought the camera and have only used it a little bit.

Have anyone here had the same problem or know what might be wrong?

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Me first!

I never get to throw the ol' RTFM around here!

:)

Just kidding, I'll be nice -- this has been covered a number of times in these forums and is mentioned in the Panasonic manual, IIRC.

The sound? It's the OIS mechanism. It will make that sound when the camera is off or in VTR mode. It's not a problem with your camera.

Wow. I feel all big now. :)

Like Mr. Britt says, nothing is wrong. That's the OIS.

I can't believe Panasonic doesn't put a big red sticker on the camera itself warning people about the "click". How many tech support calls could they have avoided? (Not to mention all the crazed posts on these forums. :-))

The older Panasonic NV-MX300/0 does this as well; and there were a lot of "crazed posts on these forums" about it. (At least this click...click isn't a loose lens element.)
