Strange horizontial lines on LCD
hmm.. i havent touched the DVX for about a fortnight, so i took it out this evening for a little messing with and i noticed that there were slight regular "bumps" on the lcd display footage....
Were talking perfect lines thruought the whole screen, in order ... __________________ .................................... __________________ .................................... __________________ .................................... the dots represent the lighter tones.. but this is what it looks like.. footage isnt afected thou... now im no lcd expert, but when it warmed up a little, all was well... anyone know if this is a potential problem with these units? |

That's really strange. Maybe it's normal; maybe it's not. Why not e-mail Pana AU to see if it is normal (or not)?

wierd...
i dunno if i can email him, but ill give it a shot.... its only when the unit is initially powered up after a short while it goes away, then when i power down, you can still see some burning in the screen which fades after 15 secodns or so... i duno if its a voltage thing??? I only notice it when in extreme low light... normal shooting and everythign looks fine... |
