DVX100b vx. XH A1

I am starting a fly fishing and outdoor film company. I am going to be shooting outdoors, in a variety of light conditions (mainly low light) and will be publishing to dvd. Between the DVX100b and the XH A1, which one would you pick and why?

Do you need the capability for HD acquistion now or in the immediate future? Because that is the single most important difference between these two camcorders (one is HD and one is not).

Well, I will need HD at some point, but I am really low on cash right now and need a new camera. I guess I should bite the bullet and buy the HD camera, but I had heard that for SD, the two shoot about the same quality.

For lowlight shooting, consider also the Sony VX2100 or PD170. Buy used and save some cash...

I looked at those models and read some reviews, and they just didn't quite seem what I needed.

I have bought some used equipment before and it was an utter disaster. So naturally, now I am leery of buying anything used, but would certainly look at it for the drastic savings. Is there any way to gaurantee a used items condition?
