Replacing Backup Battery in AG-DVC200
The CR2032 coin-type backup battery in my Panasonic AG-DVC200 needs replacement. It is easily accessible by opening a small trap-door on the side of the camera, but I can't figure out how to remove it from its socket (there is a plastic piece above it holding it in place, which does not appear to be movable). The operating manual is no help, and I don't have a service manual. Can anyone tell me how to remove it? Thanks very much.

Well, I figured it out. Gently prodding the two prongs that grasp the upper edge of the battery, so that they no longer come over the edge to the front, allows the battery to be tilted forward at the top. The bottom edge will then move inward. Because the bottom edge moves inward, the plastic tab that is over the lower part of the outer surface of the battery isn't stressed, and the battery can then be lifted out at the top.

Cool- I was wondering how that was resolved.
