Round Filters and A Telephone Lens
I would like to get a DVX...but:
1. I need a longer telephoto than the standard lens. Right now the only one I've identifed is the Century for $850. 2. I would like to use a variety of filters (Soft/FX, Pro-Mist, Polarizing, etc.). The Century lens does not have a filter thread, requiring a matte box and 4x4 filters. The 4x4s are over twice as expensive as the 82mm round filters to work with 58mm lens attachments. Add the matte box and the lens and this is over $5k. If I could find a telephoto lens (and preferably a wide angle lens) that accepted round screw on filters, I could reduce this by $1000. Has anyone found such a lens or a way to use round filters? Thanks, David |

This might be a dumb question, but what does a telephone lens do?

Clearly, it dials the phone number for you...only when zooming on a phone.
The market is active today and I am probably doing to many things at once. |
