XLR-adapter and mic on Panasonic MX300
I am a user of the well-known MX300 and want to make use of better mic's for this terrific dv-cam. I am not very experienced in use of different mic's, so it would be great for me to get som advice.
At the moment I use the original VW-VMS1 zoom-mic designed for the MX300. By the way; anybody that know this mic? I bought it from a friend in Japan, and he forgot to tell me about the two switches on the left side of the mic and how to use them. Please could anybody tell me about the right use of them? (My manual is in Japanese!). Well, my most importent question here is the XLR-adapter needed for better microphones: Whichone of these XLR-adapters do You recommend to my cam? http://www.lrtv.se/beachtek.htm http://www.studio1store.com/xlr-menu.htm http://www.signvideo.com/xlr-pro_xlr...udio-mixer.htm Specifications for audio on MX300: AUDIO Recording Format: 16 bit (48 kHz/2ch), 12 bit (32 kHz/4ch) Audio Output: 16 mV, 600 ohm Microphone: Stereo Input Sensitivity/ Impedance: MIC IN (M3); -70 dBV, 5.6 kohm Speaker: 1 round speaker 28 mm It will be ok to have 2 XLR inputs, and possibility to use two mono-mics eventually two stereo-mics. Which mics will You recommend to the XLR-adapter You have recommended? Which way is preferable totake out the monitor; on the AV in/out of the camera? |
