DV953 Red Cast - Green Sensor out?
Hi all,
Happy New Year! I have a DV953 that I just took out of its bag after about a month of non-use. Previously there were no image issues. When I turned it on today, it took several seconds for an image to come on. I thought I had left the lens cap, but that wasn't the case. When the image came up, it was very red/pink. White balancing didn't correct it. I aimed it at some blue objects, which appeared correctly. I aimed it at a green curtain, which did not. Luma is fine. Is there a reset function I can use to force the camera to call up the green sensor, or does it sound like the sensor is no longer transmitting chroma detail? Or does it sound like the sensor at all? Thanks, Brandt |

Thanks Guy. I was wondering about the recall. The RA paperwork is on its way from Panasonic.
