Looking for MX5000 to look at
Is there anyone in the Portland, OR area that has an MX-5000 that wouldn't mind me checking out their cam for video quality? I'm in the market for one, but would like to see first hand what the video looks like.
Thanks, Brandt |

Allan owns (and sells) these cams. I think that his feedback would be the next best thing to actually seeing one in the flesh.
Keep in mind that the MX5000 has been selling like hotcakes over in Japan, and the playback resolution has been tested at 540 lines. The color saturation of Panasonic cams in general is always great---even on their lower end consumer cams. Look at the features of the MX5000. It's "true" 16:9 and frame mode are a huge plus. The older MX350 and 300/0 are great cams. Heck, the MX5000 must be good. And look at the price. 6 years ago you would have had to pay almost $4000 US for this kind of cam. |
