MX300 problems
Hi all i have owned an mx300 for around 2 years now and im wondering if somone gets the same problem that i do.
Sometimes when i place a tape in the cam to be played it plays back glitchy...both video and audio. On tapes that have been reused it is also possible to se glitches of previous video! To solve this problem i have to farward (to blank or unwanted tape)and record for a few seconds....after this i can rewind back and the playback is fine. This problem does not happen every time and as far as i can remember it started after a trip to Thailand, where it was used in humid\rugged conditions. I have been reading about firmware solutions in other posts........do you guys think that this is the case? Thanks for any help..... |

If you're playing back with your cam, it's not "the glitch" problem.
I never had this problem with good quality new tapes. It could be because of the kind of tape you use, or because you are re-using tapes, or you have head problems---perhaps you are mixing brands of tape, thus dirty heads? There could be a number of causes. Anyways, I think you have dirty cam heads. Clean them, and stick with 1 brand/type of tape. http://www.dvfreak.com/tape.htm |
