GS250 Vs HC90 (That old chestnut)
Howdy peeps. Time has come for me to buy a new camcorder, just sold my Canon MVX25i (Optura40) due to the fact that the image would ghost slightly (NOT blur, actually ghost!) even at high shutter speeds. Bright light was exelent though.
Anyway I want to know if anyone knows which out of the Pana GS250 and the Sony HC90 gives the best picture quality in 16:9 and good light? I'm not asking about features or anything else, just based pureley on picture quality and movement (ie, much digital noise?). I want the best colour and resolution from this price range. Thanks. |

I looked at both of these cams a while back and DVSpot.com had thorough reviews for both. The GS250 of course has the edge in color accuracy with its 3CCD arrangement but the HC90 fairs well considering its single CCD. Where I think the HC90 wins out (for me) is the higher resolution 16:9 mode, widescreen LCD, and above average low light performance. Above average as compared to other compact cams..
Luckily both cams are top loaders! Lets us know what you end going with! |
