Panasonic MX stereo zoom mic VW-VMS1, w/adaptor
Has anyone here have one? How directional is it?

Panasonic wrote that the zoom mic narrows the field while zooming to "tele," then widens its field when going back to wide. When using this feature when wearing head phones, one can say it is relatively effective.

I have not used one, but I did noticed it requires another connection to the remote socket. This means two cords dangling from the mic.
If you have the remote tripod as well, you probably cannot connect both of these accessories at the same time. |

I'm still also considering the Senn ME66 and Beachtec or Studio1, then mounting everything from my tripod (Manfrotto 075 / 136). I haven't figured all this out yet. Perhaps you have some further suggestions regarding sound for the MX300?
