Anyone know which camera would match the EZ30U?
What camera footage will match the EZ30U better? A Panasonic EZ1 or a GS200?

A PV-DV950, which is the consumer version of the AG-EZ30U. After that, probably a Canon GL1. The GS120 and older GS70 might come close in terms of resolution but not in noise.

Thanks Frank for the information. The rental house here has two Panasonic cameras, the EZ1 and the GS200. Of those two, will either of them work? or should I try and find another rental place and go for the two camera's you mentioned.

For the best match, I'd go for another EZ30 or a PV-DV950. Why take a chance? I often see used DV950's going pretty cheap you know where. (Just disengage the built-in image stabilizer, on both cams.) :-))

I thought that might be the case but was hoping one of the other cameras might work. Thanks again Frank.

I remembered earlier today that the AG-DVC10 and AG-DVC15 share the same CCDs, engine and lens than the AG-EX30U and the PV-DV950. I wanted to post it but I had to go out shopping with my wife.

Thanks for all the replies. If anyone knows of a place in the Atlanta area that will rent one of the above cameras, let me know.
